1. About this policy

This policy applies when a customer purchases paid downloadable AIGMS™ digital content through this website or through an agreed direct purchase route.

A consumer is an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A purchase made for an organisation or mainly for business use will normally be a business purchase.

Your statutory rights are protected. Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that the law does not allow AIGMS™ to exclude.

2. Consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer, you normally have the right to cancel a distance contract for digital content without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into.

This right can end before the 14 days have passed when you request immediate digital supply, give the consent required by law and acknowledge that the right will be lost once supply begins.

3. Immediate digital supply

For an order placed through this website, the checkout presents a separate box which starts unticked. You must tick it yourself to:

  1. request immediate access to the digital content
  2. expressly consent to supply beginning during the 14-day cancellation period
  3. acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel once the downloads are made available

Once you have given that consent and acknowledgement then AIGMS™ makes the downloads available, your statutory 14-day cancellation right ends. AIGMS™ will confirm the consent and acknowledgement in the order confirmation supplied in a form that you can keep.

A directly arranged upgrade or another direct digital-content order will only be supplied immediately after AIGMS™ has obtained equivalent consent and acknowledgement.

If you do not want supply to begin immediately, do not complete the purchase. Please email terms@aigms.uk before ordering so that the available options can be discussed.

If AIGMS™ begins supply without obtaining the consent and acknowledgement required by law, you retain the cancellation rights provided by law.

4. How to cancel while the right remains

Send a clear cancellation statement to terms@aigms.uk before the cancellation period expires. You do not need to give a reason.

Please include your name, the email address used for the order, the order number and the digital content you wish to cancel. You may use the wording below although you do not have to:

Subject: Cancellation request

I give notice that I wish to cancel my contract for [name of digital content], ordered on [date]. My order number is [order number].

Name: [your name]
Email: [your email]
Date: [date]

5. Refunds following a valid cancellation

If you cancel while a statutory cancellation right remains, AIGMS™ will refund all payments received under the cancelled contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice.

AIGMS™ will use the same payment method that you used for the purchase unless you expressly agree to another method. AIGMS™ will not charge a refund fee. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refunded amount.

6. Faulty, inaccessible or incorrect digital content

Digital content supplied to a consumer must meet the standards required by law. These include satisfactory quality, conformity with its description and reasonable fitness for a particular purpose made known before purchase where the law applies.

If you receive the wrong package or ZIP file or the content is corrupt, incomplete, inaccessible or not as described, email terms@aigms.uk with your order number and a clear description of the problem.

Where the law applies, you may require AIGMS™ to repair or replace the digital content. AIGMS™ will do this within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience and without charging you any necessary costs. You cannot require a remedy that is impossible or disproportionate compared with the other available remedy.

You may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction if neither repair nor replacement is available or if the required remedy is not provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. The reduction can be up to the full amount paid where appropriate.

Damage to a device or other digital content

If digital content supplied by AIGMS™ damages a consumer’s device or other digital content because AIGMS™ did not use reasonable care and skill, the consumer may be entitled to repair of the damage or appropriate compensation.

AIGMS™ digital content does not guarantee legal compliance, verification readiness, AIGMS™ Verified status or any assessment outcome. This boundary does not reduce your statutory rights if the content fails to meet a standard required by law.

7. Business purchases

A customer acting wholly or mainly for business purposes has no statutory 14-day change-of-mind right. A business order can be cancelled only where AIGMS™ agrees in writing or another contractual or legal right applies.

This section does not limit any right or remedy that applies to a business purchase and cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Contact and related information
